Parade chairman Michael Papadaki stated, "We are so pleased to have Beau Bridges as he Grand Marshall for this year?s Hollywood Christmas Parade?It is truly an honor to have him join he ranks of Jimmy Stuart, Ron Howard, John Wayne, and Bob Hope as Grand Marshall."

Parade watchers will see Bridges and his family offer holiday greetings from a horse-drawn carriage along a new parade route, beginning at Mann's Chinese Theatre. Other celebrities scheduled to participate in the event include stars of the TV show "The Parkers," David Arquette, 98 Degrees, Nancy Sinatra, and cast members of popular shows such as "Beverly Hills 90210," "NYPD Blue," and "General Hospital."
